HIP

Dr Prodromos does not generally perform hip surgery.  However, he is an international leader in the use of PRP and stem cells for hip problems. PRP/Stem Cells are highly effective for mild to moderate hip arthritis, but not for severe bone on bone arthritis.  It is also effective for Trochanteric Bursitis, and sometimes for labral tears. Hamstring injury in the hip or thigh area usually also resolves without intervention. In resistant cases, our high quality Weber laser which produces no heat or pain may be helpful.  In more resistant cases, PRP injection can also be effective.
