The researchers injected very small amounts of two immune system stimulating drugs directly into the tumors in mice. Remarkably the tumors were completely eliminated, including distant metastases. The treatment was successful for a variety of tumors. They are now beginning a trial of the treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The treatment is far less toxic than treatments that stimulate the entire immune system.
This study is yet another example of the limitless potential of disease treatment that works by harnessing the body’s own immune system to treat disease rather than using drugs that do not. This potential exists for cancer, autoimmune diseases and degenerative arthritis. It is also generally far less costly to utilize the body to heal itself than to use expensive patented drugs.
