THE SPINE

Spine Surgery at ISMOC is performed by Dr. Dan Ivankovich. Dr Ivankovich is a Northwestern University fellowship trained Spine surgeon. He is skilled in all areas of spine surgery including the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. While most patients with back pain do not need spine surgery, in some of the most serious cases surgery is required.

Common examples of effective spine surgery include removal of herniated disks that have not responded to conservative treatment, the treatment of spine fractures, and decompression of the spine in spinal stenosis.
